The tasks for your transaction will be
accomplished promptly and correctly the first time. My work ethic was learned young. By 17
years of age, I had worked nearly 5 years as a newspaper
carrier which financed the first two years of college where I majored in journalism
and advertising; later accounting and business.
I wrote thirty second radio spots for the
Jim Ameche Organization for a year. For three years I wrote ad copy, sold ads, wrote
newscopy, and even set type for a local aviation trade newspaper.
Twenty five years selling real estate
means I can answer most of your questions quickly and accurately. If you ask for my advice
I may be able to add an experienced point of view. I earned my license in 1973 while
working as a secretary in a real estate office. In twelve months I was the top salesperson
and have remained a top producer.
Receiving my real estate license was my
lucky day. |
Certificates etc.
Smarter, and better ways to serve our
clients is the basis for the Realtors annual meeting. Workshops
are taught by the nation's highest quality teachers. Technological advances are only one
of the topics and is the main reason why my client marketing
materials are a step ahead.
A small percent of agents take the time
to attend this amazing gathering and return home with fresh ideas and up to date
information on legal issues for our clients.
My buyers and sellers have taught me more
than I have learned in hundreds of real estate classes, yet the most valuable single class
was Planning Your Estate. The most valuable area of study has been understanding real
estate as it affected by IRS regulations. The new tax law
has nearly eliminated this concern for homeowners.

Land Use. Occasionally a
client will have needs that require an agent have an understanding of rezones, annexation
and other land use issues. Between 1977 and 1980 two clients kept me busy. One
investors transactions were mostly 1031 tax deferred exchanges. The other client was
a land developer. I have developed several small residential parcels for myself.
Legalese.You will be
asked to sign numerous documents. As a member of our MLS forms committee, I have read and
reread our exceptionally clear forms and have helped improve them by sitting on our NWMLS
forms committee and can quickly direct you to where a topic of your concern is discussed.
Clarity. Explaining
issues clearly and in layman's language is easier for me after six years of teaching first
time homebuying classes. |
