Think of me as your own professional shopper

Like a courier who picks up your cleaning, think of me as your gofer who will preview the inventory in your price range. You should be spending your time looking only at the homes you will consider.

I only get to show off negotiation and paralegal skills if I successfully accomplish the worker bee task of locating that property which best suits your needs. Sometimes this takes looking at the new listings every day until your home is found.

If a buyer was smart, they would say to me? "Will you make the time to look at twenty homes and show me the best four homes?" Occasionally I will sell a home to an ex-Realtor and they don't even approach me this way.

Did you know good real estate salespeople are more like librarians than salespeople? When we find you the right house you rip it out of our hands.

Recent WCRER (Washington Center for Real Estate Research) statistics reveal our average buyer looks at ten homes. Ten is a reasonable number but I suspect at least half are homes that should not be compared with the home you select because the buyer tallies random open house looking in this ten count.

IRED has a link for a check list for House Hunters. Try this checklist, it's shorter.
