Auburn Senior Activity Center 910 9th St SE   253-931-3016 This center participates in the Senior Wellness Project which includes a lifetime fitness class and a health enhancement program with weekly visits from a nurse

Black Diamond Senior Adult Program 31605 3rd Avenue; 360-886-2418; Activities include a walking group, a Bible class and monthly trips to the Muckleshoot casino in nearby Auburn.  Black Diamond has joined with the senior centers in Maple valley and Covington to form the Southeast King County Regional Senior Adult Coalition which publishes a newsletter and has sponsored a senior education forum. Federal Way is one of the few senior centers to offer an extensive adult day-care program.

Federal Way Senior Center; 4016 S 352nd St, Auburn; 253-838-3604; This is the only south county senior center with its own band, performing twice a week.  There are daily computer classes, and seniors can attend community classes - such as photography, modern dance and Japanese calligraphy.

Enumclaw Senior Activity Center; 1350 Cole St; 360-825-4741; Unusual classes offered here include Scottish country dancing and Japanese embroidery. 

Kent Senior Activity Center; 600 E Smith St; 253-859-3342; Classes include downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, biking, sea kayaking, white-water rafting or an adventure travel trip, such as sport-fishing in Baja. Other activities are a radio show, drama club, a book club, a jewelry lab and a greenhouse run by volunteers.

Klahanee Lake Community/Senior Center; 33901 9th Av S, Federal Way; 253-661-4050; This center's most popular activity is a weekly ballroom dance that draws seniors from all over.   Other offerings include woodcarving, art, dance and writing, some day trips led by a former editor and photographer for Sunset magazine.  Once a week, the center is home to a Korean seniors club.

Maple Valley Senior Program; 22010 SE 248th St; 425-432-1272; The center hosts a live band each month, except during the summer and a yearly community wide Hawaiian luau.  Creative writing class and a quilting group.

Renton Senior Activity Center; 211 Burnett Ave N; 425-235-2533; One of King County's largest senior centers with a range of activities including woodcarving, tap dance, Hawaiian and Middle-Eastern dance.  The center also offers two big trips a year to places like the Caribbean or Hawaii.

Tukwila Senior Adult Programs; 12424 42nd Av S; 206-768-2822.  Weight room, tennis lessons and a coed softball and volleyball senior league.
