| Yard waste is collected every other
week, on the same day as your recyclable materials and garbage. Put out full
carts only by 7:00 a.m. |

- Do put grass clippings, weeds, prunings and branches up to
four feet in length and less than two inches in diameter in your wheeled cart
|
- Do place any overflow material next to the wheeled cart in
additional carts. Additional carts may be purchased from (425) 277 5596.

- Do limit the weight of carts to 200 pounds and weight of
cans to 65 pounds
|
- Do cut up long branches into lengths of four feet or less
and bundle them with natural fiber string or twine before you put them out.
(Christmas trees can be recycled, but they must be cut and bundled like other yard waste.)

- Do pull your cart back from the curbside after pick up to
keep our streets safe and tidy.

- Don't mix yard waste with regular garbage.
|
- Don't put any overflow yard waste material in plastic bags
which damage composting equipment and contaminate the finished compost.

- Don't put out any tree stumps, rocks or dirt, construction
debris, barbecue coals, hazardous waste, or food wastes, nor include any pet waste.
